Friends of the Dillon Ranger District, a 501c3 non-profit organization, promotes stewardship of the
White River National Forest in Summit County through partnerships, volunteer service, education, and support.
Since the spring of 2004, FDRD has proudly generated over $1,000,000 in the Dillon Ranger District through volunteer efforts (nearly 35,000 hours), money, and in-kind donations from volunteers, members and sponsors.
FDRD's efforts aim to:
1) Improve to quality of our local natural resources and the quality of the recreationists' experience,
2) Provide visitor information,
3) Foster public land stewardship, and
4) Help address issues threatening our local National Forest Lands.
