Swan River RestorationIMG_5950.JPG

When: Friday, September 15th, 9:00am - 2:00pm

Where: Golden Horseshoe, Breckenridge, CO - We'll meet at the Dredge Lot on Tiger Road

Come be a part of a multi-year project to restore the Swan River back to its natural state before the days of mining in the county. This project is one of the biggest watershed restoration projects in the country and we need your help with Phase I. We'll be closing down out-of-system trails that have caused sedimentation in nearby streams negatively affecting the local trout population. Join us for a day in the forest helping our local fisheries and watersheds.

We'll be closing down social trails by dragging brush and duff in the Golden Horseshoe in Breckenridge. Transplanting and seed spread will also be part of the project. There will be a potential to build some buck 'n' rail fencing if time allows.
