Led by dog trainers Jean DeCesaris or Kaitlin Ganoung, join FDRD on a dog-friendly hike! Jean will guide us on dog behavior, dog-on-trail etiquette, and how dogs fit into our ecosystem. In this learning experience, be prepared to receive feedback and suggestions about your dog handling! :)
Please, only one dog per handler. We ask that folks bring only non-reactive dogs that are comfortable on leash around other dogs and people. All dogs must be up to date on vaccines. A six-foot leash is required for all dogs on this hike–and don’t forget to bring poop bags!
What to bring:
- Your pup!
- 6-foot leash
- Poop bags
- Treats (if you treat your dog)
- Clothing layers
- Sunglasses, sunscreen
- Water (for you and your dog!)
- Snacks
