Backcountry Film Festival

Where: Wilderness Sports - 701 E. Anenome Trail, Dillon
Calling all “go big or go home” winter enthusiasts! Get ready to get goosebumps while you “Ooh!” and “Ahh!” at the impact and importance of our winter wildlands through this collection of short films. The 14th annual Winter Wildlands Alliance Backcountry Film Festival will show in Dillon on Saturday, January 19 at Wilderness Sports. All proceeds will benefit Friends of the Dillon Ranger District’s (FDRD) SnowSchool program.
Doors open at 7 pm and the screening begins at 7:15 pm. Beer from Angry James Brewing will be available for purchase.
Admission is $10 in advance and $15 on the day of the show.
Tickets are available for purchase in advance at Wilderness Sports (cash only) or the Dillon Ranger District office (cash only). Tickets can also be purchased with a credit card online at bit.ly/fdrdbff.
Produced each year as a celebratory, backcountry community event by the Winter Wildlands Alliance, the 14th Annual Backcountry Film Festival film line-up is full of snowy, cinematic adventure sure to inspire both the local backcountry and general communities. Winter Wildlands Alliance is a national nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting and preserving winter wildlands and a quality human-powered snowsports experience on public lands.
