Hike With a Ranger ’21 at Copper Mountain
Hike with a Ranger at Copper Mountain this summer! Join FDRD volunteers at Copper Mountain for a guided nature hike in Copper’s beautiful high alpine environment. Enjoy a free ride up the American Eagle chairlift, followed by a .75 mile guided hike. The hike follows the Hallelujah trail, which starts at the top of American Eagle and gains approximately 400 feet of elevation. During the hike volunteer rangers will educate participants on local plants and flowers, wildlife, history, geology, and more! The hike will last around an hour and a half, and will end at the top of the American Eagle lift, where participants can choose to either hang around and grab lunch, or ride the lift back down to Center Village.
