The Ski Troops – 10th Mountain Division Presentation

Call for volunteers! BrewSki is a “beer festival on skis” at the Frisco Nordic Center, where participants ski along a designated course in costume and pick up drinks and snacks along the way. More Info about BrewSki Here
FDRD will provide volunteers to help pour beer at stops along the course and at the after party. In turn, the Town of Frisco donates a portion of each registration fee to FDRD!

Back by popular demand! Join us for an evening with retired USMC Colonel Tom Duhs, to hear the incredible story of the 10th Mountain Division. “Skiing off to War” is the story of the troops who trained at Camp Hale Colorado, and were deployed to Italy in WWII. They pushed the German Army out of Italy bringing about the end of the war in May of 1945. The unique nature of the only US Army Mountain Division, it’s recruitment, training, employment and work after WWII, makes this a fascinating presentation you won’t want to miss.

*Event is FREE and open to the public. All ages welcome! No sign up is necessary.*

**Volunteers are not needed at this event**
