Spring 2026 at Summit Cove and Dillon Valley

Friends of the Dillon Ranger District (FDRD) is excited to offer the Junior Forest Stewards program at both Summit Cove and Dillon Valley Elementaries in the spring semester of 2026! This FREE afterschool program will run each Wednesday at Summit Cove and each Thursday at Dillon Valley, from the end of the school day until 5:30 pm for elementary students K-5. Join us for an engaging and educational experience focusing on public land stewardship! Weekly themes include:

• Forests Health and Trees
• Wildlife Adaptations
• Mountain Weather Mysteries
• Plants and Pollinators
• Adventure Preparedness
