Afterschool Enrichment

FALL 2026 at SILVERTHORNE ELEMENTARY (Wednesdays) and DILLON VALLEY ELEMENTARY (Fridays)

Week of September 1st (second week of school) until Winter Break

Friends of the Dillon Ranger District (FDRD) is excited to offer the Junior Forest Stewards program at both Silverthorne Elementary and Dillon Valley Elementary in the fall semester of 2026! This FREE afterschool program will run each Wednesday at SVE and each Friday at DVE, from the end of the school day until 5:30 pm for elementary students K-5. Join us for an engaging and educational experience focusing on public land stewardship! Weekly themes include:

• Forests Health and Trees
• Wildlife Adaptations
• Mountain Weather Mysteries
• Plants and Pollinators
• Adventure Preparedness
